| Eva Longoria Parker's Best Part of 2008? Tony! |
Eva Longoria Parker's favorite part of 2008 wasn't opening her new restaurant,
Beso...it was a romantic trip she took with hubby Tony Parker.
"My one year anniversary vacation!" the Desperate Housewives star told me of her year's highlight. "It was on a
boat in the South of France and Italy, so that was really great."
Tony was by her side at the New Years' Eve bash held at Beso (natch), where they locked lips at midnight and made
matching resolutions for the coming year...
Eva told E! News that both and she Tony are "trying to be really healthy" this year. The tiny star even dished
that she's giving up meat in 2009! Could she be PETA's new postergirl or does the vegetarian vow have something
to do with prepping for pregnancy?
Eva obviously likes to keep everyone guessing. Inside the party, she and Tony stayed hidden in a reserved area
upstairs for most of the night. Guests who paid $275 a ticket had to settle for trying to catch a glimpse of the
famous duo from the dancefloor downstairs.

| Service matters |
| I hope everybody is enjoying the holiday season. There's some news about
the site that you all need to know. I plan on
switching hosts again. I'm consolidating on space and hopefully this will be the last time the site moves. If you see it
down anytime over the weekend, it's being moved. The gallery might be changed as well. I'm trying to maintain all
memberships in the gallery, but the pictures might have to be re-uploaded...again. So hang in there.

| Eva Gets Sex Ban |
Eva Longoria has reportedly been banned from having sex with husband
Tony Parker.
The “Desperate Housewives” star was hoping the basketball player’s recent injury - which left him out of
action with a sprained ankle - would be an excuse to spend quality bedroom time with her spouse, but her
naughty plans were scrapped by Tony.
A source told National Enquirer magazine: “Eva was really, really excited when she found out Tony was going
to be out of commission because she and Tony rarely get to spend even 24 consecutive hours together. She is
always in Los Angeles filming and he is San Antonio for the basketball season.”
“But Tony told Eva his injury is no excuse for a hanky-panky break and he is planning to continue traveling
with the team.”
It was recently claimed Eva, 33, is so desperate to have a baby with Tony, 26, that she has even threatened
to leave him.
A source close to the couple said: “Tony isn’t ready for a baby. He’s much younger than Eva and at the top
of his profession, while Eva is in her ‘baby prime’ as she calls it. She even threatened to leave him twice
before he agreed.”

| Celebs don't like to flash butts |
Who knew Eva Longoria Parker was a closet smoker?
It seems the "Desperate Housewives" star has been desperate to keep her habit under wraps -- only openly
indulging in a cigarette -- or several -- while she was out of the country this week.
"She hates to be photographed smoking," says X-17 owner Frank Navarre. "But we get her once in a while."
Eva was caught in the act twice this week, puffing away while trolling the streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico,
where she traveled for the wedding of "Without a Trace" star Roselyn Sanchez.
But this actress isn't the only star who tries to keep her nicotine addiction a secret.
A frequent smoker, "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad never appears on her hit reality show with a cigarette -- and
goes to great lengths to abstain from puffing in public.
"She avoids it," says Frank.
Onetime closet smoker Britney Spears now openly flaunts her Marlboro Lights, while Anne Hathaway just admitted
she was a smoker for years -- before she quit this summer.
And new mom Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was a top-secret smoker who went to great lengths to hide her habit before
she became pregnant, even ducking behind a pal when one of our reporters caught her in the act last year.
But why all the secrecy?
"It's so taboo," says Antonia Russo, a Manhattan image consultant who specializes in advising performing artists.
Not only does does the habit work against Hollywood's health-conscious image, she says, but it's
counterintuitive to being a role model for teens.
The American Lung Association frowns upon star smokers, but still holds the tobacco industry responsible
for influencing teens.
The organization "does not blame smokers, celebrity or otherwise," says spokesman Heather Grzelka. "The
tobacco industry is guilty of causing nearly 400,000 deaths due to smoking-related illnesses each year."
"There is nothing glamorous about a product that causes death and disease," she adds.
But, according to Frank, stars don't seem to care about smoking's nasty side effects.
"A lot of celebrities smoke -- a lot," he says. "Young Hollywood is still a big smoker. The (anti-smoking)
campaign has no effect on them."
